Before browsing our offering, allow us to share a portion of our philosophy on what makes a great horse.

During the 1800-1900s, a horse needs three things above all else; the proper mind, disposition, and physical ability for the task at hand.  To the authentic cowboy, practicality and functionality reigned supreme. 

Now please don’t misunderstand, we enjoy and raise horses with a lot of color; however, we place an emphasis first and foremost on disposition and make sure the horse’s physical conformation and mental abilities are suited to the work they are asked to perform.

We maintain this philosophy because we still use our horses day in and day out.  In a normal year, they have been on high mountain pack and fishing trips, trail rides, working cattle ranches, mounted shooting reenactments, and hunting trips.  Due to the unique nature of our business, our horses are bred to be solid all-around working horses.
